You are invited to visit the unique mountain oasis of natural beauty at Heaps Peak Arboretum. The Arboretum is open 24/7 365 days a year. On weekends the Information Booth is open from 11 AM to 3 PM, weather permitting.

The Arboretum is in the San Bernardino National Forest at an elevation of approximately 6000 feet. It is free to the public, although the Forest Service requires that an Adventure Pass be displayed on each car parking at the Arboretum A $5.00 daily pass can be purchased at a number of places locally and at the Arboretum when the Information Booth is open on weekends.

Become a member today! Heaps Peak's unique arboretum and botanical gardens greet visitors with a diversity of native plants, and trees. Drought tolerant and non drought tolerant plants are exhibited.
Want to learn about wildflowers and wildlife that occur in the San Bernardino Mountains? Come to our booth on weekends and visit with our friendly booth volunteers and get answers to all your questions. We provide an ideal setting for young children to enjoy the forest and experience nature with their parents. Picnic tables & trash receptacles are available
