DIRECTIONS

To reach the Heaps Peak Arboretum from Highway 330, come up the mountain from the City of Highland and turn west on Highway 18 from Running Springs for 4.5 miles and we are directly on your right-hand side on Highway 18.

From San Bernardino, drive up the mountain on Highway 18 and continue past the Lake Arrowhead turnoff (Highway 173) Stay on Highway 18 for approximately 2 miles and we will appear on your left-hand side. **Be cautious when crossing in front of oncoming traffic to enter our parking area when coming from San Bernardino. (east-bound)

We have ample parking in a very large turn-out on Highway 18.

Look for the small Forest Service signs when driving from either direction on Highway 18 that indicate a "hiking opportunity 1/4 mile ahead" This will be your warning to reduce speed and get ready to make your turn.
